Aim: analyze the purchasing of the goods, compare commercial terms and prices with market ones, find ways to decrease the expenses.
Result: client was recommended to replace local dealers by manufactures and conclude direct contracts for delivery. As a result, prices were decreased by 15% (fuel, raw materials, critical expendable materials). Single shipments were replaced by long-term contracts with possibility to revise the prices quarterly based on market conditions. Various terms of payment were replaced by common one – the delay of payment 45 days after delivery at stock.
A single procedure of purchasing prices’ monitoring and procedure of supplier’ choice were created and implemented.
